I am the Property Manager at ERA Realty. I have been doing property management for 20 + years.
I became involved with The Arc of Grays Harbor through a friend who was board member.
My vision for The Arc is to always be a pacesetter in programs, in schools for educational opportunities for all with disablities, and a strong support for INCLUSION. I want the organization to help individuals with developmental disabilities to be all that they can be. I also want to work hard for a stronger membership.

I heard of The Arc of Grays Harbor through my involvement with the Hope From Horses program. When a position opened on the Board of Directors of The Arc, I was asked to consider being part of it and was invited to a meeting.
I work in Montesano as a Chiropractor. My practice involves helping people with all kinds of back and neck problems. I live in Montesano with my wife, Michele and we have 3 grown children.
I see a world where all people are accepted and appreciated. I've made so many new friends who are part of Arcin' Round, Hope From Horses, and Friends of the Olympics (Sports & Fitness Program). I am really grateful to be a part of The Arc of Grays Harbor.

In 1978 Arc board members recruited me to develop a new program known as "trouble shooters" and to provide board support. I've been involved with people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers ever since, both as paid staff and volunteer.
I have been an independent contractor with Grays Harbor County Social Services since 1998. My initial task was to develop a new parent advocacy and support organization.
Currently I provide information and assistance to individuals, families, and community members to enable them to assist with school programs and finding other appropriate services.
My vision for people with disabilities is to have the availability and accessiblity for post secondary education to develop job skills or a trade so they may be competitive in the labor market. Their improved economic status will level the playing field in all aspects of community life.

I was invited to be on the board by other board members. Then I had an interview and board members voted for me.
I work at Warm Company, in Elma, four days a week. I wrap padding samples in mini wrap. I wrap bigger padding for crafts and put them in boxes and tape up the boxes. After I stack the boxes they are taken away by truck.
I like to go to stores and the movies. I went to Disney World and Hawaii.
My vision is for people with disabilities to be independent, have a good job, and buy their own house.

I was a part of the Spokane Arc for years. After moving Grays Harbor and working with Dolores she informed me she was a member of The Arc of Grays Harbor and I said GREAT how do I get involved and the rest is history.
I am a realtor at ERA Twin County Realty in Aberdeen. I live and raise goats and sheep on 6 acres on the middle Satsop River. I have a son with disabilities who lives in a group home. His father was also involved in The Arc in Spokane
I would like to see more independent living arrangements and job opportunities open up for people with disabilities in our community. This is a tall order I know.

I became a part of The Arc as an athlete for the Grays Harbor Hawks and it has just evolved from there.
I am a self-advocate so that I can advocate for the rights of people with developmental disabilities.
My vision for people with disabilities in our community is to advocate services to make a better life for people with disabilities.
