What does a Benefit Consultant do?

The consultant explores a person's employment plan and/or Social Security Benefits assisting the individual in the ability to become employed and/or secure their Social Security Benefits

when working.

This results in the person gaining greater economic self-sufficiency.

The consultant:

• Calculates the individual's wages and explains how the income affects the person's Social Security benefits.




• Provides the individual with information about government resources for employment.




• Quarterly reviews the person's record keeping and work related benefits.




• Provides and explains tools necessary to maintain adequate record keeping for Social Security reporting.




• Offers One-on-One consulting when requested and by appointment.
