Information, Resources and Referral empowers people with developmental disabilities, their families, and others acting on their behalf to resolve concerns, locate and access available resources and/or services and/or refers them to appropriate services.  This service provides:

• Information about navigating the developmental disabilities system.




• Referrals to community resources.




• Creative problem solving.




• An understanding of government agencies and benefits.




• Options to meet educational and recreational needs.




• Resource information on transition from school to work.




• Opportunities to explore options for living in the community.




• Information on long-term planning.
