Basketball Exhibition Games


Assisting families with loved ones with disabilities from birth through life.


Families experience a range of emotions when learning that their loved one has a disability or delay:



Loss * Denial * Blame or Anger * Fear/Anxiety * Sadness



Love and joy: Nothing is more precious than a child, despite any obstacles the family must face.


Motivation to act: Learning about and using laws that ensure the right to services for a child.


Families make a difference for a loved one with a disability!


  • Family members are the most important people and constant in their loved ones life.


  • Families know their loved one better than anyone else.


  • Families help their loved one develop and learn.


  • Families have much to share.


  • Families attending workshops is a way that families can take action on behalf of their loved ones.


  • Families learn how to use their voice effectively in effort to bring about positive changes in the life of their loved one with disabilities, their family, and community.

  • Enhancing the learning and development of their child.


  • Encourage families to have their loved one participate in family and community activities.
