    The Arc of Grays Harbor held the 5th annual Appreciation Celebration at City Hall in Montesano on October 22, 2005, to honor members of the community who have contributed significantly in helping and supporting a better quality of life  for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

  

    The afternoon event was filled with a silent auction, raffle drawings, declicious food and karaoke/dance music at the end.  Lunch was catered by Diedra Deli in Hoquiam.

MEET THE 2005 HONOREES

Owners Mr. and Mrs. Jim Chumbley, and managers Mr. and Mrs. Brad Hayes of   The Warm Comany in Elma were honored for their willingness to employ people with disabilities
   
Peggyand Don Schmidt were honored for all their volunteer hours and donating horses for the Hope from Horses program.

 

Terri Melinkovich was honored for her long history of working with families           of children

with disabilities. Terri was coordinator

of the evaluation clinic for children birth through age five with Special Services.
